INSTRUCTOR

"My name is Sherry Smith and I am the founder and the teacher of Bloom & Grow Preschool LLC.

I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University and my Masters degree in Early childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University. I have taught in the elementary education environment for 25 years.

Over the past 19 years I have been teaching and working with 3 and 4 year old’s and have found my passion. During this time I have been trained in Pyramid Model (a training for promoting healthy social and emotional development), Conscious Discipline, and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. In addition, I attend at least one early childhood conference every year.

In my free time I love to spend time with my family. I’ve been married for 33 years and have 2 adult children. I also enjoy traveling, reading and watching sporting events.

My passion is teaching little learners and watching them grow into confident, caring individuals who have a love for school!”
